How Much Does a Sprinkler Blowout Cost in Toronto?
At HigreenWall Irrigation a sprinkler blowout costs $80 for up to 6 zones, $160 for up to 10 zones and $200 for up to 16 zones, before HST. Larger systems are quoted. The price includes shutting off the supply, clearing every zone with compressed air, checking valves and the backflow preventer, setting the controller for winter and a photo report.

Why price by zone?
Each zone has to be opened and cleared on its own until only mist comes out of the heads. More zones means more time on site, so pricing by zone keeps small systems affordable and large systems fair.
What a proper blowout includes
- Irrigation water supply shut off
- Every zone cleared with compressed air, one at a time
- Valves and backflow preventer checked and drained
- Controller set to off or rain mode
- A service report with photos and the blowout pressure on a gauge

How to count your zones
Open your controller and count the numbered stations that are wired, or count the valves in your valve box. If you are not sure, book the size you think fits and we will confirm on site.

When you book your fall closing you can also reserve your spring opening, so your system is first on our list in April and May. The spring opening is $70 for up to 6 zones and $140 for 7 to 16 zones.
